TSOL: Brayered Birthday Background!

Hello! Today I am sharing a card using The Stamps of Life set, birthday4subways.  I brayered the background with Soft Sky, Baja Breeze and Bermuda Bay (SU).  I then stamped the background over the brayered panel with Stephanie's Licorice ink.  A fun and easy card to make, and perfect for a guy! I have been busy painting and am anxiously awaiting the installation of my new wood floors which happens next week. I will share more photos as things get finished.

Hi, there! Today I have a couple of cards to share with you using Heartfelt Creations Balmy Breeze collection.  I love the nautical images in this collection.  On my first card, I stamped the image in black and then colored the image with Prisma pencils.  I added a strip of Balmy Breezes patterned paper and some twine and a charm at the top.
This next card is perfect for a masculine birthday! I love the vintage look you get by simply stamping the images in brown and adding some distress ink to the edges.

Make sure you stop by the Heartfelt Creations blog for the complete product list and instructions on recreating both of these cards.  You will also find tons of inspiration from the design team!

TSOL: New Bee dies!

Hello! Today I have some cards to share using the new bee dies from The Stamps Of Life.  They match the bee4me and hive4bees sets.  For the first card, I added some Glossy Accents and some of Stephanie's Sprinkles glitter to the wings. I colored the bee body with copic markers.

For this card, I stamped the bee hive onto patterned paper and then used the matching die to cut it out. I popped it up with foam dots for dimension.  I also used one of the new mini tag dies to attach to the baker's twine at the bottom.

I used some fun patterned paper for the vertical panel on this card. Once again, I added some Glossy Accents and Sprinkles glitter to the wings.

I was excited to see a big bumble bee buzzing by me yesterday! Loving the warmer weather!

Hello!  Today I have a card to share using stamps from The Stamps Of Life.  I just love these little bugs!  I used Stephanie's inks in Licorice, Guava and Grape.  I used the set, moreladybugs2love.  This set is great on it's own, and also compliments the ladybugs2love set.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!  We have a weekend filled with more birthday activities.  Spring birthdays abound in our family. LOL!

TSOL: Rainbows and Gumballs

Hello!  Today I have a card to share using some sets from The Stamps Of Life.  The background is the gum4background set.  I used my Faber Castell Gelatos to color directly onto to the stamp.  I then spritzed the entire stamp with water and stamped onto watercolor paper.  The small gumball machine is from the bubblegum4me set.  I stamped the tiny gumballs using inks from Stephanie and then added glossy accents to the top.  The sentiment is from the more gum4me set.

TSOL: Ladybugs2love

Hi, there! Today I have some cards to share using the new ladybug2love set from The Stamps Of Life.  I love the different patterns you can stamp on their wings with this set.  I am especially fond of the lovebug sentiment, as I use that term of endearment with my boys!
I stamped the sentiment and ladybug outline in Stephanie's Licorice ink.  I used her Guava ink for the wings, and filled in the larger hearts with black ink.  I used a black pen to hand draw the border.
The next card I I used more traditional "ladybug" colors.  I popped the ladybug up with foam dots and added the scallop border at the top using TSOL scallop border die.  I tied some May Arts red burlap twine at the top.

TSOL: HELLO!

HELLO!  I have a card to share today using the new alpha4Fayleen set from The Stamps Of Life.  I love the fun font of this set.  I paired it up with some patterned paper, baker's twine and a paper rose.  I stamped the first "HELLO" in black and then stamped it above and below to get the lighter shades.
I hope you all are well.
Got a new computer since my other one crashed and it has been horrible trying to get everything transferred and figuring out to get my go to photo editing software to work on the new one.  I wish I were more of a techie brained chick!  My formal dining room is painted. HOORAY! Now just waiting to get the wood floor installed.  New craft studio is next, and then the kitchen!

Belated Easter Wishes!

Hi, there!  This was supposed to post yesterday, but in all of the spring break excitement, I forgot to schedule it.  I used stamps and dies from The Stamps Of Life to create this card.
I hope you all had a blessed Easter holiday with family and friends!

My family/great room is finished!
I really wish I would have taken before photos of this room.  I had a kind of folk art theme going on before, so I really changed it a lot!  I love the modern, updated feel.  Next stop...formal dining room!  :)
