Cut red cardstock to measure 5.5" x 11".  Use Scor Pal to score at 5.5" mark and fold so that card base is a 5.5" square.  Cut white cardstock panel to measure 5.25" x 5.25".  Use Scor Pal to score in 1/4" on each side.  You want the raised scored lines to be the front of the panel.  Stamp dahlia image in black ink and color with copics. Cut out using scissors.  Stamp Classic Leaf image in black (lined image) and then stamp the solid leaf in green over top. Use coordinating die to cut leaf image out.  Stamp the three leaf image from the Open Leaf set in black and then stamp the Bold Leaf in green over top.  Use coordinating die to cut out.
Stamp "with love" sentiment in black in lower left corner of white panel.  Layer leaves and flower. I used foam dimensional dots under my dahlia for dimension.  Last, add some black rhinestones in various sizes in upper right and lower left corners of card.

TSOL: Let's Talk...

Hello! I wanted to share a quick card using some The Stamps Of Life stamps.  I love these speech bubbles.  They can be used alone, or with any number of different images.  I used Stephanie's Clearsnap Spray in Grape for my panel.  I then spritzed water on it to tone it down.  I allowed the panel to dry, and then stamped the speech bubbles in Licorice ink.  I used some washi tape so it looks like it is just tacked on the card!  Easy peasy!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you all had a great Fourth of July.

Heartfelt Creations: Wash Day...

Hello!  I created a scrapbook layout for today, using stamps, dies and paper from Heartfelt Creations.  I found the vintage photo of the lady hanging wash on-line.  I love finding old photos in both antique stores and on the net.  I really wish I had a photo of my grandma hanging wash on the line in her back yard.  I used to love to help her.  I would run through the sheets as they were hanging, because I loved that fresh smell!
You can find the product list and the complete instructions for recreating this page below:

HCPC 3541-Summer Season PreCut Set
HCPC 3394-Classic Bella Rose PreCut Set
HCD 712-Bella Rose Die
HCD 737 Ornate Gateway Die
HCDP1 234 Daphne Paper Collection
other products: White cardstock, white tag, paper doily, mini wood clothespins, pink baker's twine, Old Paper distress ink, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Prisma pencils, Versamark ink, clear embossing powder with glitter, Thickers black alphabet letters, half pearls, vintage photograph
Stamp Summer Season image onto white cardstock with black ink. Color with Prisma Pencils or coloring medium of your choice. Distress edges with Old Paper distress ink. Use Ornate Gateway die and cut from white paper one decorative piece and adhere to bottom of Summer season image.  Cut a 4" x 6" piece of pink Daphne patterned paper.  Stamp lace image from Summer Season set towards top in Versarmark ink and then sprinkle with clear embossing powder mixed with fine glitter. Use heat tool to set.  Use Thicker's alphabet letters to spell "WASH DAY" under embossed area on pink panel.  Adhere half pearls under "day".  Stamp and color rose image and use coordinating  Bella Rose die to cut. Adhere finished rose to white tag and distress edges with Old Paper ink.  Tie Baker's twine bow through top of tag and add a mini clothes pin to the top.  Cut paper doily in half.  Now layer everything onto center of 12 x 12 Daphene patterned paper as seen in photo.  I used foam dimensionals on the tag and the Summer Season image.  Last, add two clothespins to top corners of colored Summer Season image square.  Attach a piece of baker's twine and loop it through the clothes pins and let the extra hang down.  I tacked my down with a tiny drop of glue on each side.

TSOL: It's Your Time To Shine!

Hi, there!  I wanted to share a card I made using the new club set from The Stamps Of Life, award2stamp.  You can make all kinds of award ribbons with this set, but I wanted to think out of the box, so I created a scene.  I used the Sizzix zig zag circle to create my sun which frames the circle sentiment.  The clouds are from The Stamps Of Life made by Sizzix.  The flowers are from the Pennants and Banners Sizzix set.
Make sure you check out The Stamps Of Life gallery to see what the rest of the design team created using this set!
